Quickstart
Download BrokerBridge and try it with practice money. You do not need a BrokerBridge account, an access code, a card, or a broker connection to explore it. Create an account only when you want to buy AI credits or connect a real Interactive Brokers account.
BrokerBridge currently ships for macOS. Bring a supported AI provider account or API key, run Ollama on your own computer, or pay as you go with BrokerBridge credits from the dashboard.
Download the macOS app
Open the current macOS download. The download page asks for your email first, but trying BrokerBridge with practice money does not need a BrokerBridge account, access code, or broker connection.
Install and open BrokerBridge
Drag BrokerBridge Installer.app to Applications, open it, and follow the setup steps. Windows is not a supported launch platform yet.
Choose an AI and set your rules
Pick a supported AI provider or a local Ollama model, then set the limits you want BrokerBridge to enforce (how much it can risk, how many trades it can hold, and more). BrokerBridge credits are a pay-as-you-go way to cover AI use, bought and topped up from the dashboard.
Try it with practice money
Click Launch BrokerBridge. The app opens at http://localhost:8080. You can use the Trading Desk and the AI Arena with practice money, without connecting a broker. The AI Arena runs continuously, but only with practice money, and it never places a real order.
Ready to connect a real account?
Connecting Interactive Brokers is a separate step, not a different app. Follow the full setup guide in this order: create and verify your BrokerBridge account, choose how you will pay for AI, install and activate the macOS app, connect an Interactive Brokers practice account first, confirm your rules, then choose how you want to approve trades.
You always choose one of three ways to approve a trade, per strategy: Supervised (you approve every trade), I confirm from the alert (you tap to confirm within a time window), or I approve the strategy up front (a strategy trades on its own, inside limits you set in writing, once you give it your standing approval). You can withdraw that approval at any moment, and every trade still runs your rules no matter which one you pick.
Uninstall (remove everything)
Open BrokerBridge Installer and click Uninstall Everything. This removes the app and the BrokerBridge data stored on your computer.
Export any records you want to keep first. Uninstalling removes the app and its local data; it does not close or change your brokerage account.
